At Hotel Palazzo Turchini, we firmly believe that exceptional hospitality must go hand in hand with profound respect for our environment and the splendid city of Naples. For us, sustainability isn’t just an option, but a concrete commitment that guides our daily choices.
We are proud to adopt a series of eco-sustainable practices aimed at reducing our environmental impact, preserving natural resources, and offering our guests a responsible stay, without sacrificing the comfort and quality that distinguish us.
Achieve significant energy savings by using the renewable energy source of the sun.
This combines compatibility with architectural and environmental protection requirements, zero noise pollution, fossil fuel savings, and electricity generation without polluting emissions.
The photovoltaic system produces 14.82 kWp.
It is composed of 38 high-efficiency polycrystalline silicon photovoltaic modules, each with a capacity of 390 Wp.
The system also has a 30 kWh electricity storage system.
The system’s total output is 19,690 kWh, with 19,310 kWh of self-consumed energy and 393.90 kWh of exported energy.
Estimated savings of approximately 5 tons of CO₂ emissions, equivalent to planting 232 trees.
Energy savings per single room (with Building Automation system) are 36,000 kWh on 120,000 kWh of energy consumed.
The building has been upgraded from Class C (APE) to Class B.
Renewable Energy Performance Index:
EPgl,ren: 25.46 kWh/m2 per year
CO₂ Emissions: 21.18 kg/m2 per year
In the coming years, the building will be upgraded to energy efficiency class A through new interventions (such as glass windows, etc.), all of which will gradually make Palazzo Turchini an increasingly green and eco-friendly hotel.
Then, the processes for obtaining ISO certification will be implemented as company management allows.
